Do you migrate historical data too?
We decide based on retention and cost. Sometimes it makes sense to migrate the history, other times to leave it accessible in the old environment until it expires.
What happens to our own apps?
We validate them with AppInspect and fix what's needed for Splunk Cloud to accept them.
Will there be a service outage?
We plan a coexistence period so visibility isn't interrupted during the change.
